TS EDCET notification 2024-2025, BED entrance apply online date : TS B.ED admission notification released on 4 March 2024. Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (ED.CET) will be conducted through computer based Test (TS Ed.CET-2024 (CBT)) will be conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad for admission into B Ed (2 years) regular course in the Colleges of Education in Telangana State for the academic year 2024-24. TSEDCET exam date is 18 May 2024. Online application will begin from 6 March 2024. Candidates can apply it online through the official site of TSCHE — edcet.tsche.ac.in.

Telangana ED.CET 2024 notification, Bed Application form
Eligible candidates should submit their applications ONLINE mode only from 6th March 2024. TS ED.CET applications available till 20 April 2024 (without late fee). With late fee of Rs 250/- application available upto 25 April 2024. So eligible candidates may apply before the link expire
Fee details : Application registration fee of Rs.650/- (RS. 450/-for SC/ST) should be paid at TS online / AP online centers in Telangana State or AP/ through payment Gateway (Credit/Debit card/ Net Banking).
The last date of submission of online application with late fee of Rs 250 is April 25. This year too, the Osmania University has been entrusted with the conduct of the entrance test by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education.

Eligibility Criteria for Telangana EDCET
Educational Qualifications : Candidates should have passed or appeared for qualifying examination
- (a) In any Bachelors Degree i.e., B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Sc (Home Science), BCA, BBM/BBA or in the Masters Degree, securing at least 50% aggregate marks.
- (b) Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with Specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% aggregate marks or
- (c) Any other qualification equivalent thereto.
- (d) However, for candidates belonging to the reserved categories Viz., SC/ ST/ BC and other reserved categories should have secured 40% Marks in the qualifying examination.
- (e) Candidates possessing MBBS/ BSC (AG) / BVSC/ BHMT/ B.Pharm and such other professional and job oriented degree courses Viz., LLB are not eligible for admission into B.ED Course.
- (f) Candidates possessing a Master Degree without having undertaken undergraduate study are not eligible for admission.
- (g) The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for TS Ed.CET-2024.
Age Limit : The candidate should have completed the age of 19 years as on 1st July of the year in which notification is issued. There shall be no maximum age limit.
TS EDCET 2024 Exam Date : According to a press release issued by the TSCHE, Telangana Education Common Entrance Test will be conducted 18.05.2024 (Forenoon 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM & Afternoon sessions 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM & 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM). The examination will be held through Computer Based Test (CBT). Last year, A total of 42,399 candidates had registered for the entrance test. Of the total registered, 34,185 students appeared and 33,683 candidates have qualified
The test will be conducted in 11 regional centres of which two are in Andhra Pradesh – Vijayawada and Kurnool. “The results will be declared on May 2024,” read the press release.

The common entrance test will be of objective type (multiple choice) examination. Candidate has to answer 150 questions in two hours time. The question paper will be in English/Telugu and English / Urdu
