APPSC Group 2 Exam 2024 : Important instructions : APPSC is preparing to conduct the Group-2 preliminary examination in AP. The admit cards for the exam have already been released. The prelims will be held on February 25 at major centres. The exam will be conducted in offline mode from 10.30 am to 1.00 pm. A total of 4.83 lakh candidates had registered for the exam. The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of 897 Group 2 vacancies in various government departments. The prelims will be offline in objective mode. In General Studies and Mental Ability, 150 objective questions will have to be marked on the OMR sheet in 2.30 hours.
APPSC Group 2 Important instructions for candidates
- Candidates must reach the examination centre at least 60 minutes before the commencement of the examination and Candidates must reach the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
- Candidates should note that they will not be allowed to enter the centre after the stipulated time.
- Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall till the end of the examination.
- Check whether the name, address and other details are correct or not.
- Mobile phones, calculators, tabs, iPads, Bluetooth and other electronic devices will not be allowed in the exam hall.
- No malpractices should be conducted in the examination hall.
- Aspirants need to be careful while writing the exam.
- Pens and stationery items should be prepared for the test.
- It is mandatory to carry any identity card along with the admit card.
- Section 144 has been imposed in the area and heavy police force has been deployed.
