Fee of the BED candidates who have applied for AP TET 2024 will be refunded : The School Education Department has taken a crucial decision after the AP High Court recently declared that BEd candidates are ineligible for the post of Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT). All the BEd candidates who have applied for the SGT jobs will be refunded the fee paid by them.
The amount will be deposited in the bank accounts linked to the Aadhaar number of the candidates, the AP School Education Commissioner said. A total of 2,67,559 candidates have applied for AP TET and their hall tickets have been made available on the website.
A total of 120 examination centres have been set up across the state. He said 76.5 per cent of the SGT candidates have been allotted the first preference centre of their choice. They are advised to contact the office of the district education officer if they have any doubts about the examination centres. Help desks have been set up for TET and DSC candidates.
