AP NTSE notification 2020-2021

National Talent Search Examination (First Level) is conducted by Directorate of Government Examinations, A.P., Vijayawada as per directions of NCERT, New Delhi every year in the month of November along with NMMS Examination. The number of scholarships will be allocated by NCERT every year. The candidates will be selected to the Second Level basing on the merit and as per the reservation norms given by NCERT. 2000 candidates every year are being selected in Second Level Examination all over the country.

Scholarship details :

  • (a) For Intermediate (1st and 2nd years) : Rs. 1250/- per month
  • (b) For Graduation and Post Graduation : Rs. 2000/- per month
  • (c) For Ph.D, Scholarship will be paid as per UGC norms

Eligibility criteria

  • All students in the state who are studying X Standard in any of the recognized schools can write the examination.

  • Students registered under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will also be eligible for scholarship, provided the students is below the age of 18 years (as on 1st July of the particular year), the student is not employed and she/he is appearing in Class X examination for the first time.

The Application form for NTSE exam is available online on the official portal www.bse.ap.gov.in. AP NTSE Application Form can be filled through online mode only. The registration of form has been started from Oct 13 2020.

Exam Date : The State Level National Talent Search (1st level) Examination (NTSE) for class X will be conducted on Dec 13, 2020 (Sunday) in two sessions in Telugu, English, Urdu and Hindi medium at all the Headquarters of 13 Districts in the State.

  • Morning : 09.30 AM to 11.30 AM for Paper -I
  • Afternoon : 02.00 PM to 04.00 PM for Paper -II

Exam Pattern :

The Examination consists of Mental Ability Test (MAT) Paper-I in the Morning Session for 100 marks, Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)Paper-II Afternoon Session for 100 marks comprising Social Studies, Sciences and Mathematics.
