Principal Arun Kulkarni released the results of the entrance examination for the admission to the Vijayanagaram Korukonda military school for the academic year 2020-21. A total of 10,043 students attended the entrance test held for admission in class six and ninth. A total of 240 students passed the entrance examination. 180 students have passed for the class 6 and 60 students have passed for the class 9. The test results are placed on the website. They will be required to appear for Medical Examination at a later date intimated through call up letters by post. Medical Examinations are likely to be held from 26 Feb 2020 onwards. Note 1 : The school does not patronise any coaching institute / agent and the admission will be strictly in accordance with the merit of the candidate based on the marks scored In the Entrance Examination, subject to medical fitness, approved by competent Medical Board.
Note 2 : More candidates may be added to the list of candidates (for admission to class VI), based on the results of the re-exam (Paper-I) for class VI to be held on 24-Feb-2019 for candidates appearing in exam centres of the three Sainik Schools viz., SS Rewa, SS Satara and SS Sujanpur Tira.
