AP POLYCET 2024 notification

AP POLYCET 2024 is a Polytechnic common entrance test is conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training Andhra Pradesh for admission into various all Diploma Courses in Engineering / Non Engineering / Technology offered at Polytechnics / institutions in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2024-25.

AP POLYCET 2024 Exam Date : SBTET Andhra Pradesh will be conducting the AP POLYCET 2024 Exam on May 2024. The AP Polytechnic exam will be conducted in CBT mode for 2 hours with 120 multiple choice questions, carrying one mark each and no negative marks will be given.

AP POLYCET 2024 Application Form

As per the AP POLYCET notification 2024, the commencement of AP POLYCET online application 2024 will be from Feb 2024 and the last date to apply without late fee is on April 2024. AP POLYCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria :

1. Candidate shall be an Indian National
2. Candidate should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh as defined in G.O.(P).No. 646, Education (w) Dept., dated 10-07-1979 and its subsequent amendments.
3. Candidates should have passed S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P / TS, such as Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education(ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
4. Candidates belonging to NIOS / APOSS / OTHER Examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by A.P. Govt. SHOULD HAVE PASSED ALL THE SUBJECTS including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
5. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in April 2024, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for AP POLYCET 2024.
6. There is no age restriction for appearing for AP POLYCET-2024. However for maximum eligible age for obtaining a scholarship, the guidelines prescribed in Memo No.10537/SW(Edn.2)/2011, and issued from time to time by Social Welfare (Edn.) Department shall apply.
7. Mere appearing for AP POLYCET 2024 and obtaining a merit rank does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission automatically unless the candidate fulfils the requirements laid down for admission.

AP POLYCET 2024 application fee : The AP POLYCET application 2024 fee is ₹400 for general candidates and  the application fee is ₹100 for SC/ST & PH candidates.
